Top-secret Philadelphia Experiment.
Official version: find protection against magnetic mines. Real goal was to confirm Nicola Tesla’s teleportation hypothesis.

The test resulted in the target, destroyer escort USS Eldridge, being rendered invisible first and instantly moved in space on hundreds of miles.
Only 21 from 181 crewmen survived. 27 crewmen literally have grown together with a ship, 13 have died of burns and irradiation, all others went missing. But teleportation possibility has been proved… Experiment was leaded by Nikola Tesla, which under the official version "has died" on January, 7th, 1943.
For safety reasons, his death was FBI mystification and the great scientist was heading the secret teleportation researches. The government of the USA amazed by results of experiment with USS Eldridge dares at continuation of researches and on bigger scale experiences. So, in December, 1943 on remote deserted test site the project "Arizona" has been started.
Project "Arizona" – powerful 200 feet tall energy generators with metal spheres crowning them formed a circle in diameter in mile. So the course of experiment was described by eyewitness: «Lets begin, - Tesla has ordered. Something reminding an artillery cannonade was heard. The laboratory has lighted up with the bluish light, all equipment let out fiery needles, the ozone smell was felt... At first large blue sparks jumped out from the sphere, then they have turned into dark blue. Now they are now longer threads but thick fire spindles. At last the lightning has flashed and incredibly powerful thunder has struck».

A foggy sphere, shining greenish light, has been generated in the middle of the experimental circle and then two volunteers-experimenters have entered it. They were missing not for long, but that they have told upon return - plunged into shock all participants of experiment. After stepping inside the sphere scientists have found themselves in strange, unknown place. Explorers have reported vegetation similar to middle latitudes flora and absence of any signs of a civilization. Nobody could tell, where they were: the remote and deserted corner of the Earth, the parallel world or other planet.

In the conditions of strict secrecy, the government have decided to form a long-term research expedition. And to provide its autonomy, have supplied with numerous support team which should construct the necessary infrastructure allowing group not to depend on deliveries from an external world. Experiment proceeded some years until Nikola Tesla was live. At this time expedition has grown into a full-grown colony.

With real death of Tesla serious problems have come as the project head held all key technical solutions only in his head. Problems with portal initialization have begun. Scientists have faced that during one of the planned teleportation sessions portal has ceased to open. Only after a countless unsuccessful attempts and by the tremendous cost of energy, the portal let people go into the Zone, but only to give them yet another terrible mystery. There were not a single soul found in the colony. All the buildings were left intact, every piece of equipment remained on their places, but everyone, scientists, workers, guards, have disappeared, without any trace … The project management, frightened by such mass disappearance of people, has taken measures to erase any information about it and without that confidential experiment. The military base on which territory there was a portal, has been preserved, and power towers have disassembled.
Only a few separate pieces of evidences and some geological samples were left from this experiment, which was destined to be buried in safes of the Ministry of Defence for many years.

Period of limitation has expired and the secrecy classification has been removed from archival file on experiment "Arizona". The artefacts which have been taken out from the Zone 65 years ago, have again come into the scientists’ hands.

After countless tests and analyses, experts have come to a conclusion that the samples found in archive, consist of the substance are unknown to science. As it has appeared, the «Blue Crystal» (such name scientists have given to unknown substance) possesses a number of extraordinary properties and in the parametres repeatedly surpasses notorious Gelij-3 for the sake of which extraction in 2013 the mankind has launched the large scale lunar program. The main principal of this new super-substance is that its extraction has appeared very easy.
As multi-billion profits have appeared on horizon a special corporation «Spectra crystals» has been founded. Corporation has bought out all research results and area on which the old thrown military base settled down. Engineers have restored the disassembled Tesla power towers. The portal has begun working again. For realization of «Blue Crystal» extraction program Spectra Crystals begun hiring adventurers and risky people from all over the world.
